These can be used for a specific expense, such
as booking an airline ticket for travel, or a one-off
expense. This helps reduce the risk of fraud if a
primary account number is exposed.
Implement spend
and velocity controls:
Marqeta helps Torpago reduce fraud by setting limits
on the number of purchases that can be attempted
within a certain timeframe, monitoring failed
authorization attempts or transactions that exceed
spend limits, and more. Torpago can also enable
spend controls based on MCCs to help prevent
fraudulent transactions.
Issue physical and
tokenized cards:
Traditional branded physical cards can be carried
by employees of Torpago’s customers, while
tokenized cards can be added to digital wallets for
